The New York RedBulls Overpower NYC F.C. 4-0 on The Fourth Round of the Lamar US Open Cup and Second Consecutive Win in the NY Derby !

New York(SMI-WIRE,06.06.18)-The NY Redbulls used a strong offensive attack from the start and overpowered NYC .F.C with a victory of 4-0, and second straight NY Derby win, in the fourth round of the Lamar Hunt US Open Cup at RedBulls Stadium, Harrison, NJ.

With today's victory, the RedBulls eleiminated  NYC F.C., for the second consecutive year in the US Open Cup and inproved to 8-3-1 against NYC F.C. in overall competition. The Boys in Red wasted not time and opened the score at 2 minutes through Vincent Bezecourt with hard low shot from inside the 18' to the leftside of NYC F.C.'s Brad Stuver for the RedBulls 1-0 lead.

The RedBulls kept the pressure going and missed couple more oppotunities on the 23rd minute, when Derrick Etienne Jr. shot wide to the leftside of goalpost and on the 27' on a counter-attack Etienee passed to Alex Muyl inside the 18' but kicked a left shot over the goalpost for 1-0 lead RedBulls a the half.

In the second half, The RedBulls picked-up where they left off and went immediatly to the offesive attack, increasing its lead through a corner kick from Marc Rzatkowski at 51 minute and finding Aaron Long inside 18' , who headed the leftside goalpost of NYC F.C.'s Brad Stuver for the 2-0 lead RedBulls.

NYC F.C tried to re-group and get some counter-attacks going but weren't able to 

execute due to a strong defensive line from the RedBulls, which neutralized all the offensive attacks from NYC .F.C.

With the RedBulls 2-0 in front and on the way for a secure victory, Daniel Royer added two more goals in the spam of two minutes at 87' & 89 for the final win of

4-0, of the New York RedBulls over NYC F.C.
