The Trophée des Arts award, established in 1992, recognizes a distinguished artist or cultural icon who exemplifies FIAF’s mission of French-American friendship and cross-cultural exchange.This elegant annual benefit gala, celebrates the best of the French culture in the big apple and raises funds to support FIAF’s mission to teach French, promote Francophone culture, and strengthen the relationship between French and American people.

 

The Pilier d’Or award, established in 2006, recognizes a leading business figure, diplomat, or philanthropist for outstanding contributions to the French-American community.

The presenters of the gala were Thomas J. Barrack Jr.( Founder  & Executive Chairman of Colony Capital Inc) and renowmed American's actor Sam Waterston.

Sebastien Bazin: Recipient of the 2018 Pillier d' Or Award

The 2018 Pilier d’Or was awarded to Sébastien Bazin, Chairman and CEO of AccorHotels, one of the largest hotel chains in the world.
