PROGRAMS & PERFORMANCES FROM RECORD 24 COUNTRIES NOMINATED FOR 2021 INTERNATIONAL EMMY® AWARDS..!
NEW YORK,NY (SMI-ENTERTAINMENT-AWARDS, 09.23-11.22.21)– Nominations for the 2021 International Emmy® Awards were announced today by the International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences. There are 44 Nominees across 11 categories and spanning a record number of 24 countries. The full list of Nominees follows this release.
“We are so proud of our Nominees and the record-breaking number of countries,” said International Academy President & CEO Bruce Paisner.
“To those who feared the pandemic would slow TV production around the world, this is your answer.”
Nominees come from: Argentina, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Chile, China, Colombia, Egypt, France, India, Israel, Japan, Lebanon, Mexico, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, Singapore, South Korea, Spain, Thailand, the United Kingdom & the United States.
Actress Menna Shalaby garnered the first ever Emmy® nomination from Egypt for her performance in the crime mini-series Every Week Has a Friday.
All nominated program trailers and exclusive Nominee interviews will be featured online during the International Emmy® World Television Festival from November 12 to 22 on the International Academy’s website.
Winners will be announced at an in-person Ceremony in New York City, on Monday, November 22, 2021 at a location to be announced shortly.
