NEW YORK, NY (SMI-PHILANTHROPY-ARTS-03.17-03.19.23)-The NYC Saint Patrick's Day Parade  known for being the oldest and biggest St. Patrick's Day Parade in the world, celebrated its 262nd edition Today Friday 17, honoring the Patron Saint of Ireland and of the Archdiocese of New York with over few hundred groups, bands, and NY State government officials marching through Fifth Avenue in the heart of the Big Apple.

New York City turned Green as thousand of Irish-American and citizens from Ireland gathered to cheer across Fifth Ave to celebrate not only the Patron St Patrick but all Irish related from culture, customs and the people as community in America. 

This year Parade's grand marshal was Kevin J. Conway, the Vice Chairman of Clayton, Dublilier & Rice, and Cardinal Dolan conducted at Mass prior to the start of the parade at St Patrick's Cathedral.

Notable attendees included : New York State Governor Kathy Hochul and NYC Mayor Eric Adams marched through Fifth Ave. followed by marching bands, schools, Universities and other organizations.
