PARIS, FRANCE (SMI-GLOBAL-ENTERTAINMENT-AWARDS-JAN 24-FEB 23, 2024) Académie des Arts et Techniques du Cinéma released the nominees in 24-categories on Jan 24, for the 49th annual French's Ceasar Award to be held on February 23, at the Olympia in Paris, France.

 

The 49th Cesar Awards will honor the best French Films of 2023, with French actress and film director Valerie Lemercier hosting the award ceremony.

The Cesar Awards is the most prestigious film awards in France equivalent to the Academy Award " The Oscars " in the US, presented by the Academie des Arts et Techniques du Cinema, honoring the best in French Cinema in 24-categories and two special award " Honorary Award" given to French actress & filmmaker Agnes Jaoui and renowned British-American filmmaker Christopher Nolan.

The Animal Kingdom led the pack with 12 nominations, Anatomy of a Fall received 11-nominations while All Your Faces took 9 and The Goldman Case obtained 8.
