NEW YORK, NY(SMI-SPORTS, 11.02.-11.03.24)-The TCS New York City Marathon known as the largest annual marathon in the world kicked-off its 53th edition with the opening ceremony and parade of nations walking across the finish line at West-67st/Central Park in celebration to the upcoming 2024 NYRR race to take place on Sunday November 03, in NYC.
 
With over 50,000 runners from professionals & amateurs from 50+ countries are expected run the 26.2 miles across the 5-boroughs of NYC with the starting point in Staten Island and the finish line at 67th Street and Central Park in Manhattan. In addition to the race, over a million spectators are expected to cheer around the runners as they run across the 5-boroughs city line while others will be watching on TV in the US and around the world.
