LOS ANGELES, CA (SMI-GLOBAL-ENTERTAINMENT JULY 17-22, 2024)-The Television academy announced last Tues. July 17, the nominees in 11 categories for its 76th annual Emmys Awards recognizing the best in programming, performing and storytelling from the eligibility calendar of  2023-2024, hosted by Emmy winners Tony Hale and Sheryl Lee Ralph alongside Television Academy Chair Cris Abrego and during a live presentation from El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood, in Los Angeles, CA. 

 

 

The nominees were selected by the 22,000 voting members who every year gather to select and recognize the remarkable work of rising stars and veterans performers, producers, writers, directors, and craftspeople from the television programming.

The Bears let the nominations with a record setting in a comedy category with 23 nominations while Shogun lead the Drama category with 25 nominations. 

​

The 76th Emmy Awards will take place on September 15, 2024 and broadcast live (8:00-11:00PM) from the Peacock Theater at L.A. Live and Stream the next day on Hulu.
