LONDON, ENGLAND (SMI-GLOBAL-ENTERTAINMENT-AWARDS-FEB. 18-20, 2024)-The British Academy of Film & Television Arts announced Today Jan. 18, the winners in 25 categories of the  2024 EE BAFTA Film awards honoring the best films of 2023, during an award ceremony hosted by David Tennant and broadcasted live worldwide on BBC One and streamed on BritBox Int'l in USA from the Southbank Centre’s Royal Festival Hall in London.

 

" Oppenheimer" who received 13-nominations led the pack with 7-BAFTAs awards including for Best Film and Director." Poor Things " who received  11 nominations obtained 5-BAFTAs." The Zone of interest won 3-BAFTAs.Emma Stone wons Leading Actress for Poor Things, Cillian Murphy grabbed the Leading Actor for Oppenheimer,Da’Vine Joy Randolph won Supporting Actress for The Holdovers, and Robert Downey Jr. wins Supporting Actor for Oppenheimer.

Earth Mama won Outstanding Debut, Samantha Morton receives the BAFTA Fellowship, June Givanni received the Outstanding British Contribution to Cinema Award and Mia McKenna-Bruce won the EE Rising Star Award
