NEW YORK, NY-LOS ANGELES (SMI-GLOBAL-ENTERTAINMENT JANUARY 01, 2025)-NYC Mayor Eric Adam played protagonist once again like previous Mayors in the history of NYE celebration in Times Square by pushing the crystal button at 11:59pm to signal 60' descend of the New Year's Eve Ball, and welcome the New Year 2025, alongside world class artists who performed during the countdown: Carrie Underwood, Jonas Brothers, TLC, Megan Moroney,  and Sophie Ellis-Bextor at CountDown Center Stage in Times Square, New York City.

 

The celebration began at 6pm with the ascend of the NYE Crystal Sparking Lighting ball to the top of the pole in times square, and follow afterward with the  special performance of the Sino-American Friendship Association in celebration of the Chinese New Year and US 8-time Grammy award winning artist" Carrie Underwood " closing out the performers stage singing three hit songs dressed in 3-separate exotic outfits per song " Church Bells " from StoryTeller (2016), "Pink Champagne " from 2022's Denim & Rhinestones and her classic song "Before He Cheats" (Some Hearts, 2005).

The the Pop Rock Band "Jonas Brothers" sang their hit singles " "Sucker" (Happiness Begins, 2019), " Play my Music" from the Disney Channel original movie " Camp Rock"  and Covered " Dreams " by the Cranberries.

The Legendary 1990 R&B Duo;  Rozonda "Chilli" Thomas and Tionne "T-Boz" Watkins from TLC" who is celebrating 30-years anniversary sang a mix of their hits that include "Chasin Waterwalls", "No Scrubs",  &

" Creep ".

2024 CMA New Artist of the Year/Country Music " Megan Moroney"

sang her single " Man On The Moon" at Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2025 while English Pop singer & songwriter Sophie Ellis-Bextor sang her hit " Murder on the Dance Floor" and sang duets alongside Jessie Ware and Scissor Sisters' Jake Shears.

 

 

​​In addition to global artists who performed at the Center Stage, in Times Square, Mark Ambor performs his hit songs, “Belong Together,” “Good to Be,” and “Our Way” Mickey Guyton performs her hit songs, “My Side of the Country,” “House on Fire,” “All American,” and the special Times Square New Year’s Eve tradition of singing John Lennon’s “Imagine” moments before midnight and Rita Ora performed on ABC’s “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest” at Planet Center Stage.
