THE 2025 TRIBECA FILM FESTIVAL

ANNOUNCES ITS SHORT FILMS LINEUP...

 

“93 selections from 105 filmmakers, including 82 films in competition and 10 music videos. This year’s program spans over 30 countries, including first-ever selections from Ecuador, Zimbabwe, and Curaçao. Among the selections are 49 world premieres, five international premieres, eight North American premieres, and 19 New York premieres. 

NEW YORK, NY (SMI-GLOBAL-ENTERTAINMENT-FILMS JUNE 01-15, 2025)-

The 2025 Tribeca Festival who is celebrating its 24th edition, will kick-off its annual festival with the World Premiere Doc Billy Joel: And So It Goes" on its opening Night Gala and will feature a lineup of 93+ shorts film from  short narrative, documentary, and animated films, as well as music videos.

 

This year’s Festival, which takes place June 4-15, will feature 93, selections from 105 filmmakers, including 82 films in competition and 10 music videos. This year’s program spans over 30 countries, including first-ever selections from Ecuador, Zimbabwe, and Curaçao. Among the selections are 49 world premieres, five international premieres, eight North American premieres, and 19 New York premieres.

 

The program’s four categories—narrative shorts, documentary shorts, animated shorts, and music videos— Explore bold stories of passion, joy, friendship and trauma. These stories unfold across a diverse array of thematic programs, ranging from New York stories and bloody midnight fun to family comedy and personal triumph.
