RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL(SMI-SPORTS, 07.02-07.10.21)-The national soccer team of Argentina (FIFA world-ranked#7) defeated the top-ranked #3 Brazil 1-0, in the final championship game of the 2021 Copa-America soccer tournament, winning its 15th tournament crown at the renowned Maracana Stadium in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil.

A colossal match between two giants from the Football world (Soccer), Argentina and Brazil with all their top-strikers including Super-Stars Lionel Messi(Argentina) and Neymar(Brazil) collided in the final championship game with the Albiceleste finishing victorious of 1-0, ending the drought of 28 years for Argentina when they won their last Copa-America title in 1993 after defeating Mexico 2-1 held in Ecuador. 

 

 

Argentina & Paris St Germain top-striker Angel Di Maria scored the only goal of the game at the 21' minute, when Rodrigo De Paul passed a long pass from downfield to the right side corner directed to Di Maria- but the ball rebounded-0ff Brazilian and Atletico Madrid defender Renan Lodi's leg, finding Angel De Maria who ran inside the 18'  alone and lifted up the ball over the top of Brzilian's goalkeeper Ederson Moraes, ending the ball back in the net to put the Argentina 1-0 and sealed the victory fot the Albiceleste. 

 

 

With the win, Lionel Messi win his firs major soccer tournament with the Argentinian national soccer team and the Albiceleste ties Uruguay with 15th Copa-America titles.
