PHILADELPHIA, PA(SMI-GLOBAL-SPORTS JUNE 14-JULY 13, 2025)-Striker Bruno Henrique, Danillo & Wallace Yan scored three-goals in the 2nd half as Top-Brazilian team " Flamengo "(South-America) defeats Chelsea FC (English, Premier League) 3-1, to lead the standings in Group D, with 6-points at Lincoln Financial Field.
Flamengo becomes the second team within two days in the tournament to stuns the world of soccer and a Top-European team like Botafogo (Brazil, South-America) who beat Paris Saint-Germain 1-0, yesterday at Rose Bowl Stadium in Los Angeles
Top-rank Chelsea F.C. from the Premiere League, and under the command of Italian head coach Enzo Maresca went to the attack from the start and striker Liam Delap barely missed opening score at 05' mark when he received a long ball from Enzo Fernandez and shot a right-footed from inside the box with goalkeeper Augustine Rossi deflecting the ball over the crossbar for a corner kick.
Eight minute later, Flamengo's defender Wesley Franca failed to clear a loose ball on the midfield and gave it to Chelsea's Pedro Neto who ran with the ball inside the 18' and scored with a left-footed over goalkeeper Rossi's leg for his second goal of the tournament and put Chelsea 1-0, over Flamengo at 13' mark.
With the game-clock winding down, Flamengo counter-attacked on two separate occasions but without any major danger to the Chelsea goal to closed-out the half
with English leading 1-0, over Flamengo.
The Brazilians on their first counter-attack of the second half, midfielder Gerson on a breakaway evaded a defender inside the penalty box and kicked a curvy shot to goal but missed the target and forward Gonzalo Plata who was coming on a run tried to intercepted but kicked-it outside with a left-footed at 53' mark.
Flamengo kept the pressure and 9' minute later found the equalizer through Striker
Bruno Enrique.The play was originated through the right-side field, midfielder Gerson centered the ball inside the box finding forward G. Plata who immediately head it to Bruno Enrique who was standing inside the 6-yard box and tapped-in the ball to tie game 1-1.
Three-minute later, the Brazilian went ahed in the score 2-1, when Bruno Enrique
received a center ball from a corner kick and headed it to Danillo who scored with extending right-footed ending in back of the net for the 2-1, at 65' mark and sending the Flamengo fans in wild celebration.
With Chelsea F.C. playing with 10-men after Nicole Jackson was sent-off due to major foul, and 7' remaining in the game, Flamengo increased its lead of 3-1, during a counter-attack through the right -side field, striker G. Plata ran inside the penalty box gave it to Wallace Yan back to Plata and back to Yan who scored with right footed to sealed the victory of Flamengo 3-1, over Chelsea FC.

Flamengo will face LAFC(MLS , USA) on Tuesday June 24, at Camping World Stadium in Orlando, FL.
