NEW YORK (SMI-WIRE,06.02.15) The Gordon Parks Foundation held it's annual awards dinner today honoring individuals for inspiring others through their creative work with numerous attendees from VIP's & Celebrities of the entertainment

 industry @ Cipriani Wall Street Restaurant in New York City.The Gordon Parks Awards honorees were Usher Raymond IV (" Usher " ), JR,Lauren Claquin & visual arts Thornton Dial.

The Gordon Awards recipients:Grammy Award Winner artist and entertainment, Usher Raymond IV ( " Usher " ) and JR (Artist & Photographer) konwn for his public arts were introduced by Swizz Beatz.Thornton Dial, an influential visual artist was introduced by Hill Harper and.Laurent Claquin, head of Kering Americas was presented as well  by Aimee Mullins.

Legendary actor, Robert DeNiro and wife Grace Hightower De Niro were presented with the Gordon Parks Patron of the Arts Awards by Whoopi Goldberg.

Special musical guest Pharrell Williams attended and entertained the audience during the event.

The evening's Co-Chairs include Alicia Keys, Karl Lagerfield, Alexander Soros and Kaseem 'Swiss Beatz" Dean.
