NEW YORK, NY-LOS ANGELES (SMI-GLOBAL-ENTERTAINMENT JANUARY 01, 2025)-NYC Mayor Eric Adam played protagonist once again like previous Mayors in the history of NYE celebration in Times Square by pushing the crystal button at 11:59pm to signal 60' descend of the New Year's Eve Ball, and welcome the New Year 2025, alongside world class artists who performed during the countdown: Carrie Underwood, Jonas Brothers, TLC, Megan Moroney,  and Sophie Ellis-Bextor at CountDown Center Stage in Times Square, New York City.

 

The the Pop Rock Band & Trio "Jonas Brothers" sang their hit singles " "Sucker" (Happiness Begins, 2019), " Play my Music" from the Disney Channel original movie " Camp Rock"  and Covered " Dreams " by the Cranberries.

​JONAS BROTHERS:​A US Pop Rock band founded by three bothers Joe, Jonas and Nick Jonas from New Jersey in 2005, and who became famous during their recurrent appearances on the Disney Channel lead roles in "Camp Rock"(2007), "Camp Rock 2" (2010) and their series "Jonas" (2009). They released six studios albums overall; "It's About Time"(2006), "Jonas Brothers" (2007), A Little Bit Longer" (2008), Lines, Vines and Trying Times( 2009), "Happiness Begins"(2019),  and "The Album"(2023), selling over 20 million units overall till now.

 

The  Trio " Jonas Brothers " gained prominence with their second album studio release 'Jonas Brothers" reaching the Top-5 in the Billboard-200 Album Charts with successful singles "S.O.S", reaching 17 on the Billboard Hot-100, and "When you Look Me in the Eyes" (#25) & "Play My Music" topping #20 in the Billboard Hot-100.

In their third Studio Album release, " A Little Bit Longer" reached the top Billboard 200 album chart on its debut with the singles #5 " Burnin" Up", and #8 "Tonight" on the Billboard Hot-100 while on their fourth album " Lines, Vines and Trying Times" the single " Paranoid " reached #37, in Billboard Hot-100.

After a 6-year split and few individual music and motion picture projects, the band reunited in 2019, releasing their fifth Studio-Album and third platinum hit 

 " Happiness Begins", making  a historic return with the single "Sucker" topping #1 in the Billboard Hot 100, earning 5-time Platinum certification and a Grammy award nomination in the category for Best Duo/Group performance.

In addition the global single hit " Sucker", the album also registered the songs "Only Humans" with a Double-Platinum, and "Cool " with a platinum, with the band enjoying a sensational glory selling over 1.2 millions concert tickets on their sold-out " Happiness Begins Tour " around the world.

In 2023, the Jonas Brothers released their six-studio album entitled " The Album" produced by Jon Bellion and through Republic Records that debuted #3 on the Billboard 200 chart with the hit singles " Wings "," Waffle House ", and " Summer Baby " and registering their 7th Top-10, album hit in the charts. 

The "Album " reflected more in the mature life of the band with lyrics about exploring and enjoying life, parenthood and their personal relationships as well to create a special edition of their musical career while expressing the 70's sound that influenced the Jonas Brothers as artists.

The band embarked on its 12th concert global tour entitled; "Five Albums. One Night. The World Tour." to promote their sixth album, and featured songs from all previous five albums (2007-2023) which began August 12, 2023 in New York City and closed out on October 16, 2024 in Krakow, Poland.

 

Jonas Brothers  accolades include:Two GRAMMY® Award nominations, 3 Billboard Music Awards, 1 Global Awards, #2 American Music Awards, #17 Teen Choice Awards, generated billions of streams and a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
