NEW YORK, NY (SMI-GLOBAL-SPORTS-SEPT 13-15, 2024)-The US Soccer Federation hosted a press conference last Friday Sept 13, at Noon to introduce " Mauricio Pochettino " as the new Head coach of the US Men's National Team, and who will lead them through the 2026 FIFA World Cup to take place in US/Mexico/Canada in Manhattan, NYC.

Mauricio Pochettino, an Argentine national became the 40th US Head coach in US history and brings a winning resume as Manager/head coach with top European clubs like Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur from the Premier League in England & Paris St. Germain from the Ligue 1, in France.

Matt Crocker (US SOCCER Sporting Director):" Main priorities of the US Soccer Federation was to find the best head coach with a history of winning, real strong winning mentality and winning reputation".

"The 2nd most important thing, a head coach with a player development reputation and record, somebody that has experience not only with the best young players in the world but also with senior players in helping them to extend and continuing their development".Said Matt Crocker at the press conference introduction of Mauricio Pochettino.

"And the third thing, find a head coach that match our ambitions as we work and move towards to FIFA World Cup 2026.And I'm confident that we have secured it not only the best coach, the best person and best leader to our program forward".
