during the World Premiere Debut's Red Carpet of the Film documentary: " Win " @ Tribeca Film Festival
and this is what they said:
Starlight Illustrated: What make you do this film about Football (Soccer) & Why You pick NYC F.C. for it ?
Justin Webster:I've have a connection with the crew of the club and made a film about football clubs around 10 years ago, where Soriano was featured and I'm full aware that he is the CEO of NYC F.C.
The most attactive of this film like this is that you get to see into the inside of something that is not usual
and mostly observe from the outside.
Starlight Illustrated: What are you trying to accomplish with this film regarding about the football(Soccer) fans in the USA & the World ?
Justin Webster:I tthink the main purpose of this film is to show the audience from different angles how a
professional soccer team is build from the ground up and the difficulty on executing and reaching the goal.
The establish teams look very glamorous from the outside but in reality it looks very difficult to build it from the inside. The club and crew have to work very hard to accomplish the task.
Starlight Illustrated: How Do You feel to be the main lead role in the soccer film documentary" Win " ?
David Villa:I feel very proud to be in the film and being in the NYC F.C. club from the start.I think that
this film will be very good for the club and for the fans of soccer to learn the inside and outside of the team and the sports.Well , learning the process from acquiring new players , training practices and the preparations for the official games in the league.I also feel that is beautifull that fans get to know something that goes behind the scene which is not usually not seen in public.
Starlight Illustrated: Now with the new acquisition of talented players for this season , how do you see
the rest of the season in NYC F.C. second season ?
David Villa:Well , we are growing as a new team in the MLS league. Our main objective is to make the
play-off and compete with the rest of the league team and move forward.
Starlight Illustrated: Thanks David and good luck in the debut with the film and MLS upcoming season.
