NEW YORK(SMI-SPORTS,07.25.21)-NYC FC scored four goals in the second half as New York overpower Orlando City FC
5-0, winning their fourth consecutive home game at the legendary Yankees Stadium in the Bronx.
This is the second 5-0 game victory for the Boys in Blue since last April 14, when they also defeated FC Cincinnati 5-0 at Yankees Stadium early in the 2021 MLS season.

A well executed game plan on the pitch by NYC FC head coach Ronny Delia, sending the Boys in Blue to the offensive from the start that resulted in disarming Orlando City defensive line and overpowering them offensively.
After numerous offensive attack through side corner,
NYC FC forward Jesus Medina opened the score for New York at the 40' minute, when he received a long pass from defender Alexander Callens from the backline
and ran with the ball inside the 18' scoring the first goal of the game with a left-footed that ended in the net to put New York 1-0 at the half.
In the second half, NYC FC picked-up where they left-off
with same offensive game plan and managed to take control the rest of the game that resulted in four consecutive goals by Ismael Tajouri (53'), Maximiliano Morlez(65'), Malte Amundsen(79') and Valentine Castellanos (82') for the final rout of 5-0 over Orlando City FC.
With the win, NYC FC improved to 7-2-5 with 23 points and are in sixth place in the MLS East standings.
