NEW YORK (SMI-WIRE,05.19.15)The Parsons New  School of New York, one of the leading education institutions for art & design, held its annual fashion show benefit  celebrating and showcasing the talent & creactivity of the 2015 best fashion graduation class on a professional runway @ the River Pavilion, Jacob K. Javits Center, NYC.

The benefit draws the support of Parson's alumni and friends with the main goal to raise scholarship funds for incoming classes and to highlight the best designs of the graduating class.The event was hosted by Simon Collins, former Parson's dean and current member of the Parson's board of Governors.

In addition, Parsons at the same time held a separate gathering during the evening to honor Marc Jacob & LVMH Moet Hennesy Louis Vuitton for their greatest contributions in the fashion industry. Past honorees include Jason Wu and Hugo Boss (2014), Proenza Schouler and Hudson’s Bay (2013), Donna Karan (2012), and Reed Krakoff (2011).The benefit, now in its 67th year, has honored fashion innovators including Jason Wu, Hugo Boss, Donna Karan, Reed Krakoff, Francisco Costa, and Diane von Furstenberg.
