RAFAEL NADAL DEFEATS DANIIL MEDVEDEV IN 5-SETS, WINNING HIS RECORD-BREAKING 21ST GRAND SLAM CROWN AT 2022 AUSTRALIAN OPEN..!

MELBOURNE,AUSTRALIA(SMI-SPORTS, 01.24-01.30.22)-Rafael Nadala(World#) of Spain defeated Nadiil Medvedev (World#2, Russia), coming from behind in 5-sets, during over 5-hours marathon match and thrilling ending in the finals of the 2022 Australia Open as the Spaniard wins his 21 Grand-Slam crown at the Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne.

Nadal who hasn't played since May 2021,due foot-injury wins his 2nd Australian Open and record setting 21st Grand Slam Men's single title surpassing Swiss Roger Federer(20) and Novak Djokovic(20) of Serbia with
the most Grand slam titles in the history of Tennis sport.

The Russian took the first 2-sets 6-2, 7-6(5) but Nadal fought back to regain his composure and battled back to the last sweat to overcome the score winning the next 3-sets 6-4, 6-4, 7-5, and claim his well deserved 21st Grand Slam title
at the 2022 Australian Open.

In addition to Rafael Nadal winning the 2022 Australian Open Men's single trophy, he will received the prize of $$2.875 million for finishing first, while the runner-up Nadiil Medvedev will receive $1,575,000.
