EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ(SMI-GLOBAL SPORTS JUNE 14-JULY 13, 2025)-Global-ranked soccer club "Real Madrid (Spain)" with Global-striker Dean Mbappe(France) triumph over Dortmund (Germany) 3-2, in a quarterfinal match, and in front of 74,000+ fans at Metlife Stadium.

With the victory, the Spaniards advance to semis to face Paris Saint-Germain who defeated Bayern of Munich 2-0, in other quarter match on Wed. July 09, at MetLife Stadium.

Real Madrid went to attack from the kick-off, and opened the score very early through striker Gonzalo Garcia to put the Spaniards ahead 1-0, at 10' mark.

In counter-attack through the left-side field, midfielder Arda Guler sent a left-footed center inside the 18', finding Garcia who scored with a volley right footed for his fourth goal of the tournament.

Real Madrid kept the pressure with continuous counter-attacks and 10' minute later the second goal arrived through defender Fran Garcia.

In another counter-attack thought the right-side field, forward Gonzalo Garcia passed the ball to Trent Alexander-Arnold inside the 18', who immediately rolled a right-footed across finding Fran Garcia who kicked a left-footed to goal ending in back of the net for 2-0, Real Madrid over Dortmund at 20' mark. 

In the second half, both teams traded counter-attacks for the first 20' minute without any major danger for either goal, until striker Kylian Mbappe in an individual play ran with the ball towards goal and shot a right footed but it was saved by Dortmund's goalkeeper Gregor Kobel with a deflection back to Mbappe out of bounce for a goal kick at 75' mark.

With the game-clock winding down and in stoppage-time, Dortmund scored through Maximillian Beier to reduce the deficit 2-1, at 90+2 with a right-footed to the lower right goal post.

Real Madrid answered back with a goal on their own through striker Kylan Mbappe when received a center pass inside the 18' from Arda Guller, and scored with a acrobatic half-bicycle kick to put the Spaniards 3-1, at 90+4 in stoppage-time.

With seconds remaining in stoppage-time, forward Serhou Guirassy was brought-down inside the box for penalty kick in favor of Dortmund and where he himself executed to cut the deficit 3-2, and time ran-out to end the game with the same score in favor of Real Madrid.   

With the victory, Real Madrid advance to the semifinals to face Paris Saint-Germain (France) who defeated Bayern of Munich 2-0, in another quarterfinal match next Wednesday July 09, at MetLife Stadium
