NEW YORK, NY(SMI-ENTERTAINMENT-OCTOBER 10, 2022)-The Columbus Day Parade known as the nation's largest celebration of Christopher Columbus and Italian Heritage in the United States, commemorated its 78th Annual edition  today with over few 100's floats, Clubs and bands marching through Fifth Avenue waving to several thousands spectators in the heart of the Big Apple.

The annual Columbus Day Parade is hosted and organized by the Columbus Citizens Foundation, a non-profit organization in New York City that promotes Italian Heritage and its achievements.

The 2022 Grand Marshal was Tom Golisano, founder of Paychex and notable philanthropist.

Marching bands and clubs walked from 44st to 72nd street overwhelming the crowd with music, classic cars, singers on the floats, NYC police bands, NYC Department of Sanitation, Politicians as well musicians  from different part of of the entertainment industry.
