NEW YORK(SMI-WIRE,11.10.17)The Humane Society of the United States hosted its annual " To The Rescue ! New York Gala, honoring Grammy Award-winning Robert Thomas and wife Marisol (Founders of Sidewalk Angels Foundation) & Moroccanoil for their efforts to help animals at the Cipriani's-42nd in NYC(Manhattan).

The 2017 To the Recue ! New York Gala, benefits and celebrates The HSUS' animal rescue efforts, including its critical disaster relief work in the wake of Hurricanes Harvey, Irma and Maria.

The HSUS and its global arm Humane Society International travel across the country and the globe to help animals in need from puppy mills, dogfighting, the dog meat trade, neglect and natural disasters, and provide care to hundreds of thousands of animals each year.

This year 's gala was chaired by David Brownstein and Suzy Welch, along  with co-host Georgina Bloomberg, Amanda Hearst and Stephen Read.The " To The Rescue !
