" The Great Alaskan Race " and Brian Presley Directorial's Debut with Special Photo Shoot and Screening in New York City….!
NEW YORK,NY(SMI-ENTERTAINMENT,10.20.19)-The MOMS' Denise Albert and Melissa Musen Gerstein hosted another of their signature Mamarazzi event today, with a special photo shoot and screening of the newest film " The Great Alaskan Race" and film discussion with main cast and director Brian Presley, prior to its nationwide release on Friday's October 25, 2019 at The Park Avenue Screening Room in Manhattan NYC.
About The "The Alaskan Race " :
The movie is based on the true story of the great serum run of Alaska in 1925. Leonhard Seppala (Played by Brian Presley), a Norwegian sled dog breeder, trainer,d and musher champion, steps up in the midst of a diphtheria outbreak in Nome, Alaska to deliver the anti-toxin to the hospital, travelling over 700 miles under horrendous 40' degrees below zero snow storm conditions with his team of sled dogs to save the small town of Nome from the deadly diphtheria outbreak.
The photo shoot with director Brian Presley and his dog " Ootek", who made his directotial debut with " The Great Alaskan Race ", took place at the Balto Statue at 67th Street inside Central Park.The Balto Statue is the dog statute in remembrance of Balto, a hardy Siberian husky, who led his team of dogs for the final 53 treacherous miles and arriving in Nome just 20 hours later. Newspapers and radio around the world followed the trek, fascinated by the brave team whose efforts eventually helped end the epidemic.
