U.S. NEW YORK(SMIWIRE,09.11.18)-The US Men's National Team, visited the 9/11 Memorial and Museum in New York City, prior to the kickoff series against Brazil, on September 05, commemorating the September 11, 2001 attacks, which killed 2,977 people, and the 1993 World Trade Center bombing, which killed six.

The team met members of the NYPD and FDNY soccer teams, many of whom were first responders on 9/11. The teams exchanged jerseys and then took a tour of the museum while the first responders shared their stories. U.S. Soccer donated 20 tickets to the teams for the USA-Brazil match.
