NEW YORK(SMIWIRE,08.27-09.09.18)-The first round of the US Open 2018, concluded today, on second day of competition, where 17 American players (10 Women & 7 Men), advanced to next round of elimination, currently taking place at The Billie Jean King Tennis Center, in Flushing Meadows, NY.

 

Madison Keys (WTA #14) defeated France's Pauline Parmentier (WTA #71) in two sets (6-4,6-4), adding herself to the list women advancing to the next round. The list of players that advanced and will play in the next round are the following :
