NEW YORK(SMI-WIRE,12.02.15)AS IF Magazine Editor-In-Chief Tatijana Shoan and Publisher Scott Fishkind along with Audemars Piguet came together to celebrate AS IF Magazine’s 8th issue featuring cover girl Jena Malone  and Audemars Piguet’s luxury timepieces for women with Alek Wek and Dee Hilfiger, on Tuesday, November 17, 2015 at Il Principe restaurant at the Hugo Hotel.

 

Guests enjoyed a cocktail reception where refreshing Cointreau Rickey’s were served which was followed by a three-course sit down dinner where Grgich Hills wine will be paired with the meal. Notable attendees included Alek Wek, Tommy & Dee Hilfiger, Charlotte McKinney, Lars Nilsson, Mike Ovitz, Marin Hopper, Amy Fine Collins, Kim Heirston, Doug and Mike Starn, Timothy Greenfield-Sanders, Marky Ramone, Michelle Violy Harper, Andres Serrano, Maxwell, Philippe Hoerle-Guggenheim and more.

 

AS IF Magazine’s Issue nº8 is now available on newsstands with actress Jena Malone on the cover. Editor-In-Chief and photographer Tatijana Shoan spent the day photographing and interviewing Jena in a fashion editorial at the Bowery Hotel, where they discussed music, Jena’s last installment of the Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2 and artistic inspiration. Also featured in the issue is a preview of Audemars Piguet’s new collection of Millenary timepieces for women, a fashion shoot with model and actress Eva Doll, dancer and artist Mikhail Baryshnikov, Jimmy Choo Creative Director Sandra Choi, Marin Hopper of Hayward Luxury, artists Mike and Doug Starn, “It Girl” Charlotte McKinney, a story on Gemfields and their emerald mine in Zambia, and Andrew Solomon pens the intro for writer and fashion historian Amy Fine Collins interview.  Additionally, AS IF’s Art Editor, Kim Heirston spent a day with Anish Kapoor in the artist’s studio discussing the importance of his past and how he reveals his soul in his work.
